Yancey
wishes to share with you a few projects that he had the honor to be a part of
last year that you could find in theaters in 2010.
The first film is called
"UNDOCUMENTED," directed by Chris Peckover. In this film Yancey plays a Mexican
citizen (Alberto Fuentes) who is trying to come to America for a better life.
His cousin Davy, a film student, tries to help him cross the border while a film
crew films the journey of Alberto's family. The family and film crew are captured
and tortured by a radical border patrol group. The film also stars Scott Mechlowicz,
Alona Tal, Greg Serano, and Kevin Weisman.
The next film is called "TICKING
CLOCK," directed by Ernie Barbarash. Yancey plays a detective (Eddie Becker) who
is in pursuit of a serial killer. The film also stars Cuba Gooding Jr. and Neal
McDonough.
Yancey recently completed filming on "AMERICA," directed by
Sonia Fritz, where Yancey plays a Puerto Rican Guard (Correa) on the Island of
Vieques. He is obsessed and violent toward his girlfriend America who escapes
his grips to New York City in search of a better, and safer life. The film is
based on the book "America's Dream" by Esmeralda Santiago. The film also stars
Lymari Nadal, Edward James Olmos, Tony Plana, and Rachel Ticotin.
